Canadian emo pop punk band Arm’s Length went out on their first headline tour for their newest album, Never Before Seen, Never Again Found. Along for the run included bands such as Saturdays At Your Place, Ben Quad, and Carly Cosgrove.
Being the youngest of the bunch, Michigan-based Saturdays At Your Place had the most to prove, and they went far beyond. A mass amount of crowd response for the first band on the lineup is not common, but it’s a sight to see. The energy was electric and the show had barely started. Coming off of their run with Hot Mulligan, Ben Quad became one of the newest bands you should be paying attention to. They were able to showcase everything that makes them the next best thing in the emo genre. Carly Cosgrove is no stranger to the Pittsburgh area. Every time they come, it’s guaranteed to be a great time with even greater music making them a can’t miss act.
Arm’s Length have been working diligently on their craft to make them the face of the new wave of emo. They had been touring religiously with bands such as Real Friends, Knuckle Puck, nothing, nowhere, Heart Attack Man, Hot Mulligan, and many more all preparing for this moment of creating their own cross-country headline tour. Arm’s Length is a band that knows how to draw in a crowd and not lose them at any point along the way. There is just a natural connection between the two that makes their shows so enticing. Whether you walked in not knowing a single song or you have been a long time fan, their energy will have you coming back for more time and time again. This quality will keep the band growing bigger and better as time goes on. Overall, this is a tour that got the energy it deserved, and in 10 years, people will either be nostalgic for it or regret not being there.
