Travis Platt is a film producer, visual/audio content creator, social media manager, and live event manager from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, with a background in music and visual arts.

With a passion for video production since the age of ten, Travis knew that filmmaking was the career path he wanted to take.  

Travis began uploading YouTube content at the age of 12 and has captured the eyes of millions over the years in numerous projects, including music entertainment, commentary videos, live event videography and sketch comedy. Travis has a unique perspective both in front of and behind the camera, and understanding both has created a fluency for his content and the ability to push poetic imagery in any form of content.

Travis began production on live event videography in 2017 and has worked with several bands, including Disciple, Decyfer Down and Glory Days, while also doing numerous music videos, over two dozen narrative short films, and one feature length film.

Travis has been a fanatic of music since his childhood, beginning by borrowing CDs from his family that included various rock and metal bands from the early-mid 2000s. With the groundwork being laid by albums like Breaking Benjamin’s Phobia, Killswitch Engage’s The End of Heartache, and Underoath’s They're Only Chasing Safety, he jumped headfirst into the Christian rock and metal scene through early adolescence and eventually growing further into emo, metalcore, post-hardcore, emo rap and other sounds. Playing drums and doing vocals in rock and metal bands through high school taught Travis a DIY attitude, which is seen in his work to this day. 

Since 2023, Travis has primarily focused his artistic vision into The No Skip Show, where he serves as Creative Director, Founder, Video Editor and On-Screen Personality, allowing him to find a way to combine his two biggest passions, music and video production.

Introducing Dylan Tormey, co-founder and lead staff writer of The No Skip Show! Based in Pittsburgh but originally from the boonies of middle Pennsylvania, he came to the city to become a screenwriter at Point Park University. This is where he would eventually meet, and currently live with, Travis through a shared love for music, video games, and film. Even as a kid Dylan always had a deep love and admiration for music and artistic media throughout his life, being a big nerd for things like Star Wars, Marvel, and even history itself along with the music that is produced or inspired by it.

He has recently been broadening his musical horizons thanks to Travis after growing up on pop and country from his sister and various 70s/80s genres and acts from his parents. This is where he began to branch out into completely separate genres thanks to friends, such as; EDM, metalcore, hardcore, emo, folk, ancient Norse music, etc. You can say that he will listen to any and all music that makes him sing, groove, or bust a move! This admiration and love for music, coupled with our film background, eventually led to Dylan agreeing to join his friend and roommate on his ambitious, artistic endeavor to not only further his own writing career after college, but to create something truly unique and long-lasting with his best friend.

Sean O’Donnell is The No Skip Show’s post-hardcore coordinator, as well as creator of the Blue Swan Pittsburgh Facebook page. If you have seen him at shows there was more than likely a post-hardcore band on the bill and he was carrying his vinyl bag filled with records, CDs, and posters with him. To him the coolest thing in the world is to talk to his favorite bands for 30 seconds and tell them “how much their music means to me,” as well as get a signature or two for his personal collection from his bag of goodies he brings to every concert.

Dance Gavin Dance, Thursday, and Bruce Springsteen are his favorite artists who have had an impact on his view of music and collection in one way or another! Sean has been to most venues in the Pittsburgh area, his first show being at the Mellon Arena! He also attended a ton of Altar Bar shows before its untimely closing.

Preserving Underground would be his choice of the best venue he’s been to. When you are able to shop for the band's CD or vinyl and see them in concert at the same time it is 100% the best vibe in the world! If you see him at a show with his bag of memorabilia, don't be afraid to say, “what’s up!?” and ask “what's in the bag?”, because he always loves to share his moments and experiences with others in attendance.

Justin Vioral is from Pittsburgh PA. 32 years of age, has played drums for almost 20 years does vocal covers and generally is a good guy to be around.

I’m Cat Montgomery a Bay Area video editor, videographer, and photographer creating visual art rooted in mood, music, and atmosphere. I’ve been doing video since I was 16, and what started as a fun little hobby quickly became a long term goal. After growing up in California and moving to the Bay Area at 18, I found a strong creative identity made by music, short films and the visual culture of the West Coast.

Music is a major influence in how I think about editing and storytelling. I’m always exploring new genres and expanding my playlists. Artists like Current Joys, Casino Hearts, and Jack Stauber have had a strong impact on my creativity especially in how mood and style are a big part of creating a vibe. 

I also love taking photos with 35mm and making my dreams become a reality with how I edit and style my photos.

Hello! Welcome Drew Simko, a local photographer and music lover based right here in Pittsburgh, to the team! He's a graduate from Point Park University, with a focus and interest in all things cameras and editing.

Their current top three artists include:
Black Pontiac, Nothing But Thieves, and Bring Me The Horizon.

His favorite venue is The Mr. Roboto Project in Garfield, where he can commonly be found working office hours or shows! Punk-rock, emo, indie-pop, and dad rock are genres that have defined their taste, and they're always excited to learn about new, upcoming bands. Music's been a source of stability since childhood, and he hopes to increase the scene's impact through DIY and volunteer work.

Garhett was born out in the countryside of a small, western PA town in 1997 before moving to Erie at the age of 18, then to Pittsburgh a few years later. Always deeply entwined with both sports and music, he never had a great outlet to pursue music more before jumping on board. Now, livestreaming live music, mostly rock and rap, with plans to do edm and festivals coming up, Garhett can fulfill his dream of music coverage with a whole team behind him. Also filming action sports like skateboarding and dirt biking, along with Steelers football and party content, Garhett will be a great and highly skilled addition to the No Skip Show crew!

Jacob is a Pittsburgh-based photographer and videographer as well as a graduate from Duquesne University. He has been shooting shows in the Pittsburgh area for 6+ years now as well as have traveled down the east coast on tour. Mostly sticks to the metal, rock, and rap shows but will enjoy listening to pretty much anything!

Favorite artists include; Mac Miller, $uicideboy$, and Linkin Park (he’s a sucker for angsty nu-metal). His most attended venue in Pittsburgh would be Stage AE, however he has previously interned at Mr. Small’s Theatre and loves it there.

​Guy Noschese is a musician, vocalist, drummer, guitarist, rapper, songwriter, poet, writer, multimedia editor, music producer, and music content creator whose passion for music has shaped nearly every part of his life. Above all else, he’s an eclectic music enthusiast who believes every genre has something meaningful to offer, and that music has the power to connect people in ways few other things can.
His journey began at the age of 13, discovering old-school and lyrical rap through CDs, MP3 players, and an iPod Touch. Inspired by the storytelling and lyricism of the artists he admired, Guy began writing his own songs and eventually spent four years creating and releasing an experimental rap album. During that time, he also developed his musical abilities by playing keyboard in middle school before picking up guitar in high school, giving him a broader understanding of songwriting, melody, rhythm, and composition.
What started with rap and pop-rock gradually evolved into a lifelong exploration of music. Over the years, Guy’s musical interests expanded far beyond hip-hop, embracing rock, metalcore, hardcore, shoegaze, post-hardcore, emo, indie, pop, and many other genres. His diverse influences have shaped an eclectic artistic identity rooted in curiosity, emotion, and a genuine appreciation for music in all its forms. Bands like Asking Alexandria, We Came As Romans, Slipknot, and The Story So Far opened the door to an entirely new world of music. Later, watching WWE NXT introduced him to artists like Beartooth and Poppy, leading him even deeper into the alternative music scene.
His first concert, Knotfest 2019, featuring Slipknot, Volbeat, Gojira, and Behemoth, became a defining moment. Experiencing live music firsthand changed everything. Concerts became more than entertainment—they became places where lifelong memories were made, friendships were formed, and a deeper appreciation for musicianship, creativity, and the culture surrounding live music took root.
In addition to songwriting, Guy has experience in music production, recording, mixing, and editing his own music, giving him complete creative control over his projects from concept to completion. He is also passionate about multimedia production, with years of experience creating content for YouTube and podcasts. Through editing his own videos, photographs, podcast episodes, and music-focused content, while combining audio and visual storytelling, he has developed a versatile skill set that bridges music, digital media, and long-form content creation.
Over the years, Guy has built an extensive knowledge of music through thousands of hours of listening, researching, attending concerts, studying artists, and exploring the history and evolution of countless genres. His love for music extends beyond albums and concerts into anime, video games, film soundtracks, and underground scenes, always searching for new sounds and undiscovered artists.
Today, Guy combines his passion with music journalism and content creation, covering concerts, writing reviews, conducting interviews, creating multimedia content, discovering emerging artists, and supporting the local Pittsburgh music community while also highlighting touring acts from across the country. His goal is simple: to celebrate great music, help artists reach new audiences, and preserve the sense of community that makes live music so special.
Whether he’s producing music, editing a video, creating a podcast, writing lyrics, crafting a review, standing in a crowd at a show, interviewing an artist, or discovering a band with only a handful of listeners, it all comes back to the same thing—music.
