Hello everybody, and welcome back to the No Skip Blog!
Today we are here to discuss the shockingly awesome brand new album announcement from none other than resurgent, Pennsylvania based, emo-grunge legends, Superheaven! Yep, you heard that right! No one expected Superheaven to return to touring after going on hiatus after the release of their 2015 record Ours Is Chrome, let alone release brand new singles and now a whole new album, ten years later?!
We are truly blessed this year already with the multitude of resurgent acts everyone thought would fade into oblivion after releasing just a select few amazing projects. However, Superheaven seem determined to keep their name alive for now with this exciting new announcement, quickly following the equally astounding news that Youngest Daughter off their first album, Jar, was just RIAA certified gold on the 14th of February due to TikTok virality.
Now seemingly following this sudden viral popularity, Taylor Madison and crew have decided to release a new single with an accompanying music video along with the news that a new self-titled album is on the way in April of this year. The 18th of April to be exact, mark those calendars!
The album is set to be released on the bands new home label, Blue Grape Music, while being recorded and engineered by bandmates Jake Clarke and Zach Robbins with Will Yip co-producing the project. So far it's adding up to be something insane! And to think the good news doesnāt stop there. With the epic reveal the band has also announced a tour to accompany their new album, slated to begin just a little over a week after the project's release in Louisville, Kentucky atĀ LDB FestĀ with support from Glare, Spy, and Prize Horse.

Do you think the hype is worth it for the bands long awaited, full fledged resurgence or is ten years too long of a wait for even the best of bands to make a strong comeback? Weāll just have to wait a few more months before those questions can be answered, but you canāt deny that the hype is definitely there.
As always, thanks for reading and happy listening!
