Nothing shows an artist's capability more than their crowd's enthusiasm. From the opening note, Orbit Culture had the crowd squeezed against the metal barricade, eyes unwavering from the stage in anticipation. The lights were blinding---the speakers deafening---the marks of a superior heavy metal show. The energy never stopped, song after song, the venue was flooded with screaming, clapping, and moshers hitting the floor.
There was a sense of unity, but arguably there has to be one when you're shoulder to shoulder with everyone around you. People lifted others up off the floor when they fell, danced and skipped around, arms interlinked with one another. An uncommon, whimsical dance style juxtaposing the body-slamming happening a few feet away. Everyone was in their element.
A memorable live performance, from the perspective of a new listener to all three bands. The clear, mutual love between the bands and their audience created a pit the width of the stage, consuming the floor. A packed house speaks for itself; these bands brought their best. A performance you don't want to miss, make sure to see them live when they're near your city. Acts like these don't come by often, so don't miss them!
