Hello everybody, welcome back to the No Skip Show! Today we have more exciting news regarding yet another album and single announcement! It's been quite a week for artists announcing new projects and tracks, great for all of us though! This time we have local Philly punk/rock legends the Menzingers rolling out a brand new single to introduce an accompanying album on the way!

This glorious announcement would be given to us through the band's Instagram just two days ago on April 29th with a short clip of what would look like the music video to the single that is out now, Chance Encounters, giving fans just a taste of what's to come. Speaking of, the album, named Everything I Ever Saw, will be coming out this July on the 17th! You can preorder the album now on the band's website as well. The little snippet of the song is very clean and is a nice jammer that, as demonstrated in the clip, you can rock out in your car with the homies too. This is unsurprising and a very good sign as the album was produced by the famously talented Will Yip, as well as being mixed by him and Vince Ratti.

This release is very notable in a few different ways, the first is it being the band's 10th album out since their formation and first release in 2007! That's a crazy feat for most bands nowadays that are going as long and strong as the Menzingers are. The second awesome factoid is its the bands first new album since their most recent release in 2023 in the way of Some Of It Was True. That's not including the deluxe version of their 2023 release either, which only added two new songs until a release later in 2024, then now in 2026 the new album cycle seems to be beginning. Chance Encounters wouldn’t be the band's first single for the new album, that title would go to Nobody's Heroes that was released in late February on the 24th.

Very exciting to see such a storied and legendary band continuing to follow their passion and put out music they love and are proud of! It makes it even more gratifying that their home state boys so it's a little more special in a way. Hopefully this will also signal a great headliner later this year to support the upcoming release!
